Halloween!

It's Halloween!!

 Maya and Nolan had an awesome Halloween in our new house!  Nolan wanted to be Donatello (purple Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle) and Maya wanted to be Elsa from Frozen.

 The day before Halloween we carved pumpkins.  I carved Maya's (Jasmine) and Darin carved Nolan's (Darth Vader).  The Royals were playing in the World Series on this night so we had the game on in the background the whole night!

 On Halloween day, the kids had their first school party.  They played some fun games...

 ate a yummy treat (see Maya's table mate dressed as Anna giving her a hug?)

 and made a fun craft!  The kids had a blast!

 It was so cold on Halloween day (in the 30's) and Maya had had enough!  "Can we go inside now?"  I guess it's even too cold for the snow queen!

 Later that night we got together with our cousins Bryce and Taegan and Aunt Phyllis and Uncle Kent who were in town from Portland for the weekend.  Bryce is in 9th grade and Taegan is in 8th.  They told us about their super busy and fun summer in China (Bryce) and the east coast (Taegan) on school trips! Here are the 4 first cousins...Gretchen, Taegan, Bryce and Gwyn.

 And here are the cousins with the littles.  We all had a lot of fun trick or treating together around Gwyn's neighborhood!  Sure makes it more fun with more adults to chat with along the way.  Even though it was really cold, I'm not sure the little kids even noticed...they were having so much fun gathering all the candy!
