Faulkner's Ranch

After the rain ruined our plans of going to the ranch with friends in early October, we went by ourselves in late October and had a blast.  The weather was gorgeous and it was pretty empty which left plenty of space for us to try out everything!

 Pumpkin bowling!

Corn maze...

 Hay ride!
 Such creative hay bales!

The view of the ranch from the hay ride.  Isn't it picturesque?
We also did a bean bag toss,
and drove these awesome fast cars.  Maya couldn't reach the pedals last year (and didn't want to try very hard to reach them) but this year she was all over it!
 broom ball,
 cactus toss,
 cattle roping,

And a ducky race! First they give the competitive stare.....
Go!!!!   I must say that Nolan won this one pretty easily because Maya's was broken!  No water came out.  We had a re-do.  It really depends on which pump you have.  :)
We also fed lots of animals.  This was the pony--Maya's favorite.
 This tall goat enthralled Nolan.
Such sweeties.  We had so much fun--just the 3 of us.

Nolan had a blast on these buggies again!
We even found these scarecrows...can you tell who they are?  Elsa, Anna and Olaf!
 Riding horsey tires...
All smiles.  Love spending time with my kids.  These times are flying by much too quickly.  I really am savoring the moments that we have with full-day school right around the corner.  What a joy they are!
