Shatto Dairy

Last week we went on a special trip to the Shatto Dairy in Missouri.  It was so fun!  

 The dairy was about an hour and fifteen minute drive from our house but it was worth the trip!

We met some friends there for a tour and the only two kids not pictured are Brady and Charlotte!  

 As part of the tour, the kids got a chance to milk a real cow!  Maya was too nervous but Nolan jumped in there!

We also got to try 7 different kinds of delicious milk:  Banana, Root Beer, Coffee, Strawberry, Chocolate, Cotton Candy and Orange Creamcicle.  They were all really good.  We bought a Cotton Candy and Banana milk to take home!  

After our picnic lunch (and some cheese and butter samples) we got some ice cream and this adorable shop at the dairy.  Nolan and I tried all 4 flavors (chocolate, strawberry, vanilla and caramel sea salt) and they were fabulous!  

 What a fun adventure!  We hope to go back another time and do it again.
