Blueberry Picking

 We did finally make it to the blueberry patch to pick some berries.  We got rained on TWICE, once while we were eating these muffins and once more as we were picking berries, but it really added to the excitement of the adventure.  The kids finally decided on this day that rain was quite fun!

We always go to the Berry Patch in Cleveland MO, and they make these delicious muffins.  The kids wanted to eat muffins before we picked berries (Surprise surprise) so we did.  YUM!

After our snack we had plenty of energy to go pick berries!  We got a tip from another family on where the best picking was and they weren't kidding!  LOTS of plump, sweet berries ended up in our buckets!

Both kids were actually very helpful this year with the picking.  No one complained or got tired, and that was awesome because Darin was busy and it was just the 3 of us!  We got quite a good stash before the rain forced us in.  

 We ate all of them fresh and enjoyed every one!  What a special treat!
