This summer, we had a Schmanke cousin night at our house and it was a blast! We started off by decorating some sugar cookies that I had made up earlier that day. The kids wanted blue, green, pink and purple icing so we made a small bowl of each. LOTS of sprinkles too!
Ethan and Nolan loved piling on the icing and candy, as every 8- and 4 year-old-boy would.

Sydney, being 14, was much more artistic and purposeful in her cookie decorating.
You can tell which cookies were decorated by Sydney and me and which were Maya, Nolan, and Ethan's!
After our pizza dinner, the kids each got a cookie. Maya claimed the unicorn cookie I decorated. And whatever they didn't eat, they got to take home!
After cookie decorating (and pizza) we had a movie night. The kids chose Over the Hedge and Ice Age. Since there wasn't a consensus we decided to do one that night and the other one the next morning. Maya snuggled up with Sydney during the scary parts!

All smiles. We had such a great time together and we are really looking forward to having them over again. One of the cute moments that I forgot to snap a picture of was when Ethan and Nolan slept in Nolan's bed together. It was really adorable and I hope they'll do that again next time!
