Play the winter blues away!

We have had so much snow this year already! Since we are in the midst of a huge blizzard (12" expected) I thought I had better post pictures of our last snow adventure before we have another one!

This was the first time Darin got to play with the kids in the snow. He wanted to pull them in the sled, but Maya just wasn't feeling it.












This was how she felt about playing in the snow. I think she was just feeling kinda grumpy!














But Nolan was so excited about playing in the snow...and so was Piper!














We laid in the ground and had a tickle fest. Maybe next time we'll try snow angels!














I also showed Nolan how to make a snowball. Previous days the snow had been so dry it wouldn't stick...but this day it was good!















Isn't this boy a cutie!?













Daddy showed Nolan how to eat the snow too. I love the expression on Nolan's face while he feeds Darin.














Then he showed us his pouty face. I love how Darin mirrors his little pout.















Of course, Nolan had to try eating snow himself!














Hmmmm...I don't know about this cold stuff!















Maya was content to hang out on the shoveled deck where she didn't have to fight the snow. She is more like her mommy. :) After this picture, Maya and I went inside while Nolan and Daddy played outside for another 30 minutes!
