Nolan:
27.8 lbs (40th percentile)
34 1/2" (60th percentile)
Favorite things to do: playing outside in the heat or the snow, kicking his soccer ball or playing basketball, watching toon-toons on TV (Clifford, Barney and Dino Dan are his favorites right now), reading books, getting tickled, getting chased, coloring, play-doh, climbing on top of furniture, playing in Piper's water dish (naughty!) and taking baths!
Favorite foods: Anything sweet!! Sometimes if I ask him what he wants to eat, he nods his head and with a big smile says "cookie dough!" or "cupcake!" Silly boy! Other than that, he loves strawberry yogurt, cookies, any fruit (especially bananas) M & M's (or muh-muzz), pizza, chicken nuggets, mashed potatoes, rolls with butter, and corn.
Favorite toys: Any type of ball: soccer, tennis, football, basketball, cars and trains, Piper’s water dish, playdoh, crayons, & a big rectangular tote to sit in with his ball!
Favorite books: Anything Dr. Seuss, especially Green Eggs and Ham. Nolan calls it the Ham book. We read it multiple times a day!! He also Clifford books, pop up books, and Elmo books.
Favorite songs: Nolan loves the frog song. He requests it every night before bed! It goes something like this: Mmmmm-aahhh went the little green frog one day, mmm-ahh went the little green frog... He also loves 5 little ducks song, horsey song, moon song, Wheels on the bus, Happy and you know it, and the dinosaur song.
Favorite things to say: While walking into another room, he likes to look over his shoulder and say, "Mommy/Daddy, follow me." After being sad about something, some small thing will make him say, "Nolan happy again!" Most days he ends up saying, "Sorry Ya-ya," at some point. He also likes to say, “Yeah, Okaaay” to answer my questions. He also has started pointing to where things go and saying, “Right there.” He also loves to say, "Thank you Mommy," which comes out like, "uh-uh Mommy."
Milestones: Nolan walks up and down stairs by himself now. He doesn't need to hold on to the wall or my hand anymore! He sometimes holds the handrail but he likes to do it himself. He also can climb up and down out of his highchair without help. He also knows all his colors including black, white, brown, gray and pink. And Nolan can count to 10!!

Nolan, I can't believe you are two! I love that last picture of you by the way, you remind me of your daddy in that picture! You are interested in so many things, I am so impressed! You fit right in with Cooper and Jackson, they love balls just like you! You are getting so big, yay!!
