Playdate #3 Kappa kids

Towards the end of June, another friend of mine, Amanda, scheduled a playdate for K-State Kappa girls in Kansas City. We went to Leawood City park and it was such a beautiful day! The weather was perfect (although my kids behavior was not!) and it was so nice to get together with more great friends.

There was a little kid playset that Maya and Nolan had a lot of fun playing on. Both kids know how to go down a slide on their tummies (which can get hot in the summer if their bellies touch a hot slide!) but we are working on sitting on their bottoms to slide. Here is Nolan after mommy helped him go down.

Here is Maya spotting Nolan playing with some big toy dinosaurs at the park. Can you tell that she wants to play where he is playing!?

Here is Nolan saying "please" with his sign language. He is ready to get down.

Now it's Maya's turn! She is waving "hi" to the camera.

Here is the group eating lunch! Amanda took the picture so we'll have to get her in the next one. Counterclockwise starting at 12:00: Heidi and her kids Asher, Isaac (not pictured) and Eva, Amanda's daughters Isabelle and Gianna, Me with Maya and Nolan, and Jennifer. We had so much fun!!! Can't wait for next time!
