Playdate #4 OT reunion

Our 4th park playdate in June was with my Oregon Trail teacher friend Emily. She had her son, Luke about 3 months after I had Maya and Nolan. Although we only got to work with each other for a year and a half, it was a memorable time and one that ended too soon. Getting together for playdates is fun because we have had fun comparing our kids habits, schedules, quirks, and laughing at their silliness. This time, we met at Antioch Park which was so beautiful and huge!

Here is Mr. Photogenic; aka Lucas. He has a face that the camera loves so it's pretty impossible to get a bad photo. Emily is in the background. He obviously gets his photogenic gene from her.

We took a walk down near a pond at the park. The kids loved the water and Luke wanted to take a quick dip with Mom's help. With the moss covering the pond, Luke didn't think it was water so he was trying to step on it!
Nolan is watching Emily and Luke from the bridge. I literally had to pull the kids away from the water before they fell in. They wanted to splash in it and didn't understand that it was very deep!

Then we stopped for a quick water break and some high 5's before playing at the playground and eating lunch.
Thanks for playing with us Luke and Emily! Hope we can do it 1 more time before school starts again!
