Legoland and Enchanted Forest

We got the chance to go with our friends Cole and Max to Legoland at Crown Center a little while ago.  It was our first time!
Photo op with all 4 kids.  Max's smile is just adorable.
They had a huge room with mini Kansas City buildings out of Legos...Kauffman Center, Arrowhead Stadium, the Racetrack, and here is Union Station.  They were all decked out for Halloween with spiderwebs and the works.
The boys enjoyed racing cars around the Racetrack replica.
There was another play area where the kids could build their own lego cars and roll them down a track.  I build one for Maya and was quite proud of myself.  Maya was proud of it too.

Nolan found this 3-wheeled car and loved racing it.  It won quite a few races against the 4-wheeled ones!  He did not want to add a 4th wheel on.  :)

They also had this laser gun ride that the big boys and Maya and I rode on twice.  Max didn't like it so he and Linsey stayed behind.
 My cuties!

One of Maya's favorite things was this ride that went in a circle and had the riders pedal to determine how high the ride went in the air.  She loved it!  She wanted me to pedal my heart out so we could stay high up.
Another thing Maya did that surprised me was that she sang karaoke at Legoland!  She said she wanted to sing into the microphone so I found some of the kids songs (Head Shoulders Knees and Toes) and off she went!  I was proud of how brave she was since it was loud enough for people to hear her!
We had a great time at Legoland with our buddies!!

Later that evening, we met Lia and her mom Gina in Lenexa at the Enchanted Forest in Sar Ko Par.  It took place around the lake with singers, puppet shows, a fire juggler, and other entertainers.  The kids and moms had fun enjoying the shows and walking around the lake in their costumes.
 Here they are!
They had lit the trees around the lake and it was so pretty.

I also had success this year with pumpkin carving!  Nolan wanted Yoda and so I gave it my best shot. It came out pretty well!
Maya's Hello Kitty was a bit easier, but I was still proud of that as well!
