Happy Father's Day!
This year for Father's Day the kids helped me make a special home made gift for Darin to take to his office. I used this picture and also took the kids handprints. Then I put them together like a potted plant! I hope it will personalize his office space a little since it looks a little sparse. We usually have a low-key Father's Day per Darin's request. This year was no exception. We hung out at home and enjoyed each other's company!
It's a bit hard to see Maya's pink handprint, but here it is!
The kids love them! They just smash them on the pavement and then pick up the pieces.
We also had some backyard time together.
Darin has all the silly swing moves that he does with the kids and nicknames them silly names. In this one, he lifts up Maya's swing really high like this, then lets it go. He calls it "The Uppity" and Maya asks for it by name.
Nolan's favorite trick is the spin-a-roo-boo. Once he is done, he pushes Nolan so he swings/spins at the same time. Sometimes it's a double spin-a-roo-boo, sometimes it's a triple!
And I wanted to leave off with a picture of some of the delicious raspberries Darin is growing. Yum!
The hydrangea is blooming beautifully too and I caught this picture of one of the pink ones. What is neat is that some are pink, and some are purpley-blue.
