At the end of May, we were lucky enough to take a family day and go to Great Wolf Lodge! We purchased day tickets and Darin took the day off work...we had so much fun!! What a special and memorable day it was. We met up with Gwyn, Lana and Janae there too which made the day that much more fun for the kids.
Both kids had a blast with the water slides. These little slides were absolutely Maya's favorite. She wanted someone to catch her at the bottom and it didn't take long for Janae to be her catcher of choice. Aren't they cute together?
Janae played a lot with Maya and they spent a lot of time in the kiddie area. Here they are pretending to be kitties crawling through the water.

Nolan loved the smaller slides, and also showed his bravery by trying some of the bigger slides too! These slides are much bigger and you have to climb a big jungle gym with pouring water to climb the stairs for this slide. Nolan did it all himself and went down the slide alone! It took him awhile to work up the courage, but once he did, he loved it!
Here is Darin going down the slide. I had to step back when it was his turn because his splash was a monsoon!

Darin and I thought the kids might last a couple of hours, but we were there almost SIX hours! They are certainly growing up and becoming more adventurous. Both kids even went down the big tube slides with Darin and me. Can't wait to go back!
