We recently went to a beautiful park that opened this fall near our house. We went with our friend Brooke and her two boys, Tripp, 2 and baby Charlie (6 weeks). Nolan and Tripp have a blast together and it was fun to watch them play at a new park.
Lately Nolan has been choosing to wear a hat when we play outside. I love it of course, because it blocks a little of the sun!! Isn't he cute?
On the day we went, they had a new feature at the park...a waterfall! It is a kid-friendly one with only a few rocks and then a long river for the kids to wade in. There is only about an inch of water and the water is circulated and stays fresh. Pretty cool! Here is Nolan wading through.
And here are all 3 kids enjoying the cool water on a hot day. There is a sand pit nearby so it's nice that the kids can wash off their feet after playing in the sand!
It was also neat to see Tripp and Nolan hanging and swinging on these rings and monkey bars. This is a fun milestone for Nolan...he doesn't usually swing like this and I love to watch him grow up and be a big kid!
