Trip to Holton

I am a little behind in my posts! In October, we visited Gramma and Grampa in Holton. It was such a beautiful weekend, so we picked up Nana and headed to a newly built park to play! We were the only ones on the toddler side of the park, so the kids got run of the park.

Here is Grampa pushing Nolan in a swing.

There was also a slide for the kids and Nolan LOVED it. He slid down it over and over again.

The funniest thing was that the slide made his hair so full of static! It was hilarious!

Maya liked the slide too, but liked it best when Daddy would help her.

In these little play houses, Maya liked to stick her head out of the window and say "hi".

They both liked to ride on these horseys. Hold on!!

Go Maya!

Back at Gramma and Grampa's house, there were lots of toys to play with...mostly they are toys that Darin played with when he was a boy. Gramma and Grampa have been holding on to them for all these years for their grandkids to play with ! Here they are putting the alpha letters on the fridge.

And Grampa is showing them how to play the piano.

Gramma and Grampa also found a little rocking chair to match one they already had. After painting them white, they presented them to Maya and Nolan! The kids were a bit scared of these moving chairs at first, but now they love them!!

Even though they are both white and practically identical, the kids still label the chairs as "Maya's" and "Nolan's". Nolan's chair is the one with more rocking motion...cause he is the wild one! I'm sure the chair labels will change about a dozen times in the next year.

Thanks for a great weekend Gramma and Grampa!!
