This year we went to 2 different Halloween celebrations. A few days before Halloween, my gym had a celebration called "Boo Fest" where kids could play games, get prizes and eat popcorn and cotton candy. Maya was a little under the weather (teething) but Nolan had a blast! Daddy met us there after work so we could hang out as a family. It was Nolan's first time putting his costume on and he was a little unsure of the hood, but
Along with "pluck a duck" and "pumpkin toss", Nolan also played this basketball game. Twice.
There was also a cardboard ghost cutout that the kids could pose with by sticking their heads through the hole. Here is Maya.
And here is Nolan!
On Halloween day, we were invited to go trick-or-treating with the Dill cousins and their neighborhood kids. It was nice to have Maya and Nolan around other kids in costumes because they actually wanted to put theirs on too. Also, they got the hang of trick-or-treating really quickly by watching the other kids and copying what they did.
Posing for Mama!
Maya ended up being held for most of the trick-or-treating because she couldn't keep up with the other kids and we were getting left behind! Plus, it was a cool night and her little body was getting cold!
After about 30 minutes of trick-or-treating, Nolan kept saying he wanted "mo' " and reached out for the next house.

Both of the kids' costumes are darling! Great picture of the 4 cousins together too! Hopefully by next year we'll also belong to your gym and we can go to the "Boofest" together! :) Fun seeing you the other day, thanks for all the nursing stuff too! :)
