Family Ties

The kids are at such a fun age! I can't wait for our first sledding expedition because these kids love to be pulled and pushed around in boxes and laundry baskets. They are just the right size now to fit inside my laundry basket together and have Daddy or Mommy pull them around.















Although there are now fights while eating, ("Mine!" "No!"), there are also many adorable moments like these.














We spend lots of time reading, of course. Here is Nolan listening intently to Daddy's story.















A new pastime for both kids has become putting this clear box on their head while pushing the lawnmower. Nolan did it once weeks ago, and now it's the thing to do. Probably because it got such big laughs the first few times they did it!













Riding Daddy like a horsey is also a fun evening activity. The kids do a good job at taking turns since they both can't ride at the same time!













Maya likes to bury her head in Daddy's neck while she rides as well...trying to hold tight so she doesn't fall off!













And of course, I have to include bed head pictures! Maya's hair is notoriously wacky, but this is proof that Nolan has his days too. :)
