One fun thing they do is take turns pushing each other in their coup.
Maya is also starting to understand the camera. She sometimes looks at it and lets me get a picture of her! Yay!!! This will really come in handy in the future, I hope. Now if we could just get Nolan to slow down...
Piper enjoys playing outside with us too. Maya loves to pet her dog-dog (toddler-speak for good dog).
Both Maya and Nolan can now show us their "sad face" and their "happy face" on command. I haven't been quick enough to catch Nolan's faces, but Maya holds them for a long time for me to snap a shot. Here is her "sad face."
Here is Maya's "happy face." Both kids think your mouth needs to be wide open in a laugh in order for it to be "happy." Pretty cute.
Another fun thing are the tomato plants growing in our backyard. It's tough to keep the kids away from them long enough to get the tomatoes to mature this time of year. Maya got her hands on one and decided to give it a quick taste. Nolan was amazed that she was so adventurous.
She inspired him to try a bite of his tomato too. Not quite as tasty as the red ones!
We recently got some nice hand-me-down clothes from my Uncle Kent and Aunt Phyllis. When Maya saw there was a dress, she immediately wanted to try it on and play dress up. Good thing Christmas is coming up...this girl is ready for some fun!

So adorable, Gretchen! I love the pics of them pushing each other. Taking turns!
