End of School Year

I went through my iphone and found some pictures from the end of the school year in May that I hadn't posted yet.

Maya and Nolan had an open house at the end of the year where they showcased their art work from the last few months.
Pointing to his butterfly he made.
Posing in front of their art work.
 Maya's butterfly!
Another fun project the kids did was design a house and build it. They started with a paper drawing of their house (Maya also drew an airplane that Daddy sometimes flies on) and then they built their vision out of wooden shapes and painted it.

And their super awesome teacher Ms. Michelle.  We loved having her as a teacher!

The kids were excited to show their grass that they planted.  It grew into quite a lawn at home after a few days!

Showing off their grass!
One of our last days in our house, we took a family break and went to pirate ship park, which has been our go-to park for the last 5 years.
It was nice to take a break from the packing and have some family fun.
 Wheeeeeeee!
One other fun activity was a birthday party for our friend Luke who was turning 5 in April.  Nolan and Darin went to a baseball game that day, but Maya and I went to the party and for the first time, she decided to take a swing at the pinata!  It was fun to see her participating in an activity like this when last year she sat on the sidelines.  She is growing up!

Even though it is sideways, it is worth putting this picture in of Nolan's tee-ball team.  He has a great time playing again, and it was even more fun to have Daddy as his coach.  He keeps asking when he can play again.  This boy loves baseball!
