Trimming the tree and home project!

We did our usual trimming the tree this year and the kids each got a new ornament from us.  Nolan got this robot.

 And Maya got this pink carriage.  They each helped hang their own ornaments (they already have quite a few from parents and grandparents!) and of course the family ornaments.  They did a much better job of spreading them around the tree but Darin and I still helped out.  :)

 Done!

 Hard work like that deserves a hot chocolate break!

 Also this holiday season we have been working on a dining room remodel.  I love it when Nolan sees Darin working around the house and grabs his tools to help.

 Daddy shows him how to tap the nails down.
