Let it Snow!

About 10 days ago we got our first snow of the season!  The kids (and Piper) were SO EXCITED to go out and play in it.  I think their enthusiasm encourages me to get excited too, despite the cold temps.  

So first we played around in the sled.  Boy are they getting heavy for me to pull around!

 Whoa!  Hold on Nolan!

 And Nolan had to eat snow, of course.  I don't know if it's because he watched Piper or because he is just infatuated with it, but he really really likes to eat the snow!

Hoot hoot!  Maya is showing off her owl hat that Darin and I got for her in San Francisco this fall.  

 And of course, I had to put them to work!  They didn't shovel anything helpful like the driveway, but I suppose I am grooming them to be my little workers!

 We had a great time in the snow and lasted about an hour, despite the cold temps and wind.

Let's hope there is more coming this winter!
