Easter!

We began Easter with, of course, Easter baskets!!!  The kids were still a little sleepy....

Then we had a small Easter egg hunt in our house before breakfast.
After breakfast, we headed to Nana's for our big Easter celebration.  The kids got more Easter baskets and treats from the family and Maya got these super cute bunny ears.
Of course there was another Easter egg hunt at Nana's house....but she fills her eggs with money!  After the hunt is done, the kids divide the money up evenly to put in their piggy banks.  Not a bad deal!

After a delicious Easter dinner, we all went outside.  We were blessed with another year of beautiful weather on Easter Sunday.  The boys did some yard work for Nana...trimming hedges and other such stuff.

And the kids got out their kites that Gramma and Grampa got for them!  You can see Grampa, Ethan and Nolan trying to fly Ethan's kite, although there was really no wind that day so it never really took off.

Nolan tried to fly his kite, but it was an inflatable kite with a hole in it!  Try as he might, it wouldn't fly.

But there was this oversized soccer ball to kick around!

And someone found these cool wind flying things in Nana's basement.  They were pretty fun!

Maya got in on the action too!
Sydney and Maya hung out a lot.  They were great pals.

And Terrilyn and I kept the grass company.  Nolan occasionally took a break with us as well!

The sweet girls!
I love this picture of Nolan.  It totally captures the stage he is in now....all BOY!

There is always time for snuggles with Nana!
 Cheese!
Nana's cousin Betty Jane was able to make it to Easter as well!  It is always wonderful to see her.
We hope you and your family had a beautiful Easter as well.
