Easter Egg hunt

A week before Easter we went to an Easter Egg hunt at Leawood City park. We went with our neighbors Brooke and Chad and their son Tripp, who is about Maya and Nolan's age.  Before the Easter Egg hunt there were some fun activities for the kids!  

The Easter Bunny came by of course, and Maya and Nolan did a great job of posing for a picture with him!  

There were some trees for Nolan to climb...

And there was a balloon artist too!  Maya said she wanted a pink bunny and Nolan wanted a black dinosaur.  Here are Maya, Nolan and Tripp waiting patiently.  

 Maya posed nicely but Nolan didn't and shortly afterwards his dinosaur met a terrible fate after it landed in the grass.  Pop pop....no more dinosaur.  The line was so long we didn't have time to get another one.  Oh well!

Then it was time for lunch.  We had a little picnic of hot dogs, chips and drinks to gear up for the Easter Egg hunt!
