In February, we were lucky enough to get a visit from my bestest high school friend, Sarah, and her family. She and her husband John were high school sweethearts so we 3 go way back....it has been fun to watch them get married and grow their family over the years. They stopped by Olathe on their move from the west coast to the east coast and we had such a nice visit with them! I definitely learned a few mom tips from Sarah who is an expert after having 4!
Here are all the kids: Nolan, Jack, Mary, Chip, Emma, and Maya!
The sleeping arrangements worked out so great with 3 boys and 3 girls. The girls slept in Maya's room and the boys in Nolan's room. And they all did great together. Emma read bedtime stories to the girls.
And Jack read bedtime stories to the boys! Sarah and John's kids were so well-behaved and such great influences on my little ones!
Although my pictures don't really show it, the kids did more than just read. They played outside, built forts, played with all of Maya and Nolan's toys and generally had a ball. Nolan found a best friend in Jack. He absolutely idolized him!

This was the first time we have been able to get both of our families together in their entirety and it was so much fun. Gormans, you are welcome in our home, anytime!
