Our chiropractor (and friend, Craig) had Santa Claus come to his office this year. It was the first year Maya and Nolan understood what this Santa business was all about! Nolan was shy but climbed right up into Santa's lap. After watching Nolan, (and with a few "family" pictures with Santa) Maya eventually began to trust him as well.
When Santa asked each of them what they wanted for Christmas, they were well-rehearsed. Nolan said, "I want a blue race car that when you push the red button it goes really fast." This was Nolan's own idea, and he has said it just like that for about a month now. It's really cute to hear.
When Maya was asked she changed her answer from a Hello Kitty stuffed animal to a Hello Kitty pillow and blanket. That answer has not changed since she told Santa. At least once they make up their minds, they are sure of it!
What a great picture! At least they know what they want! :) I bet Santa has been busy hunting those things down!
