Fall days

Today was a day spent at home. It was a high of 47 degrees today and rain expected in the afternoon. Nolan was so funny...he started feeling things with his mouth and tongue today. He figured out that just putting toys in his mouth wasn't good enough. So he started licking everything in sight around the house. Here are some pictures of a couple of the things he got his mouth on today that made me laugh!!


Nolan licking the baby gate. I tried so hard to get a picture of when he would slide his face down the gate and get a pig nose while he licked.

Here is Nolan licking the glass door. I had to go outside to get this shot. Maya is sitting next to him...she's not pulling up to stand yet but she is happy to sit and bang on the window. It looks a little gray because the screen door is in the way.


We also went for a walk this afternoon before the rain hit. Below is a picture of my entourage. I got the kids all bundled up in warm clothes and blankets and got Piper on her leash. We only walked about 20 minutes and then I decided it was time to head home. It was nice to get out and get some fresh air, even if it was for a few minutes.

    I'll be interested to see Nolan's report on how different household items taste - I'll expect it next time I see him! (and when will that be?...)

    Love the pics of Nolan with his tonuge out licking things! That is too funny because Cole likes to do that too! I'll have to get some pics of him doing it. I also love the pic of the kids in their K-State gear and also in their Halloween outfits. SO CUTE!! :)
