Nolan's milestones

This morning as I write this post, my kids are enjoying some exercise time and were so cute that I had to get a picture. This is part of my morning routine to tire them out for morning nap. It works like a charm! So much energy in the morning...I just don't know where they get it (ahem...Daddy).

So along with being the cutest boy on the block, Nolan hit some other milestones yesterday and this morning. He has his first tooth!! It poked through yesterday morning and is a little more pronounced today. The second one is surely close behind. All I can say is....POOR MAYA! That little girl has been suffering and suffering with teething pain for months. Nolan's only recent teething signs have been a little more drool and some chewing on his bottle instead of eating all of it. This just goes to show you that what my mom said is true...Life's not fair. Just because you have lots of pain doesn't mean that your teeth are coming any sooner than anyone else.
I don't have any pictures of the little guy's new tooth, but when I can snap one, I'll post it! It is an exciting thing around here since we've been waiting so long!!
Another milestone for Nolan is that he is pulling himself up to stand. Gwyn jokingly said to Nolan the other day, "One morning Mommy is going to come in and find you standing!" Well that's almost the way it happened. I put him in Maya's crib while I changed Maya's diaper and I saw his reflection in the mirror...standing tall! Here is Nolan standing in his own crib.

Look Ma, 1 hand!! Show off. :)

  1. Yeah for fun milestones! I'm so excited that Nolan is pulling himself up - it's a whole new world up there for him! Hopefully Maya's teeth will come in soon - poor girl. And to quote mom again, "it all evens out in the end!" :-)
