Tis the season for fun Christmas activities! The term "hot cocoa" has now been replaced by "snowman soup" around here and it makes a perfect fuel for decorating the Christmas tree! Yum!
The kids were very excited this year and a very big help. Hanging them as high as we can is the most fun!
We also squeezed in a visit with Santa! The art studio that Maya took classes from this summer had a fun meet-and-greet with Santa. Maya is telling him about the My Little Pony train that she wants. In PINK!
She was thrilled to meet him and of course they were instant friends. She even told him goodbye and Merry Christmas as we were leaving!
Nolan was a bit more timid, but he did sit on Santa's lap and managed to tell him that he wanted a big castle with knights, knights, knights!

My two cuties sitting with Santa.
After seeing Santa, the kids enjoyed some cookies and a story. Then it was time for some art!
Each kid decorated and took home a snowman ornament too.
Here is their pre-k class, minus one sick boy. A sweet group!
Of course, part of the Christmas fun is decorating sugar cookies!
Now it's time to eat them! Yum!! Christmas is such a fun time of year!!

What fun! Love the snowman soup idea! Also love how they're decorating the cookies with the frosting in the squeeze tubes, what a great idea!
