Christmas morning!! The kids headed downstairs to see what Santa left in their stockings!
Maya asked for a princess on a pony and was so pleased with this Barbie who we called "princess Barbie" on a pony.
Nolan asked for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and got 2! I think they are Donatello and Raphael but I'm not quite sure...
Of course a Whoopee cushion is always a fan favorite! After some breakfast we moved onto presents under the tree. Maya's reaction to her new horse bedding was the best!!
And she was excited about her new Jasmine dress up. See her little navel poking out? Just like Jazzy!
The kids each got each other a puzzle for Christmas...
We give thank-you hugs in our family. :)
Daddy read a new book to the kids and I loved Maya's expression while he read to them. So pensive!
Then after our presents, Papa and Nonnie came over to spend the rest of the morning with us! They got each of the kids a new caroler to go with 2 that we already have. A boy for Nolan...
And a girl for Maya!
Maya got another girl on a pony...this one is a cowgirl! Yeehaw!
Nolan got this dinosaur Constructables set from Papa and Nonnie too....it walks across the floor!
Thank you hugs!!!
The kids got these cool remote control cars from Grandma Great...
They were a huge hit! See it on the floor? Maya also got a Cinderella doll from Grandad and her expression was the best!
Here is the gang playing with a new toy..
Dad got some popcorn to be delivered to him in San Diego...
Mom got some new notecards among other things...
It was so nice to have some quiet time on Christmas morning with just Papa and Nonnie!! After lunch the Dills came over for some more presents and some family time. We then had a lovely Christmas dinner all together!
And afterwards the kids sang Happy Birthday to Jesus and each blew out a candle to celebrate His birth.
What a beautiful day we had! We felt so blessed to have so much family around us this Christmas, and so much to be thankful for. Seeing Christmas through the eyes of the kids and teaching them about the meaning of Christmas is so rewarding. My cup runneth over!

What a fun Christmas! Love all of the photos!
