Summer with Gramma and Grampa!

This summer, I taught summer school again in June.  My wonderful in-laws, Bob and Gayla (aka Gramma and Grampa) watched the kids again while I was teaching.  The kids have a blast on these special "Gramma Grampa days" and I know they are making such great memories!

Grampa made up all sorts of games like monkey bumper cars (modeling the "cars" on their heads!)

and bowling for princesses (use the balls to bowl down the princesses in the box)!

Gramma had tea parties (with their best manners, pinkies in the air and special fancy names) and some book reading and phone games.

Ethan and Syd came by a few days for a cousin play date!!

Sydney makes a pretty awesome baby sitter!!

Another afternoon, they had a picnic in the park.  After saving their crusts, they fed the hungry geese at the park.

One goose was so hungry he tried to eat Maya's hand instead of the bread!!

They also made paper hats one day.

Oops!

And there was lots of time to play outside in the pool!!

Cheese!

We got this pool with a built in slide and it has been a huge hit!

Silly faces!!

We had such a great summer with our Gramma and Grampa!!

We love you Gramma and Grampa!  Thank you so much for taking care of us!!
