3-year-old interviews

I have decided that I am going to try and interview the kids each year at their birthday and see how their answers change throughout the years. I was so impressed that at 3 they really understood the challenging  questions and came up with answers on their own!

Maya's Interview:
Favorites:
cereal--corn flakes
toy--Hello Kitty
game-- Candyland
TV Show-- Dora (originally said Word World then changed her answer)
outside activity -- kick soccer ball (which is funny cause she never does this and always chooses the swings!)
color--pink
book-- Winnie the Pooh
food-- Mac & Cheese (so true!!)
animal -- pig
vegetable -- peas
fruit -- raspberries

What is 1 thing you love about Daddy?  "I love to give Daddy some kisses and hugs."
What is 1 thing you love about Mommy?  "I love to play games with Mommy."
Who is your best friend?  Alexa (friend from Children's Day Out)
What do you want to be when you grow up?  "Crown.....Princess"

Nolan's Interview:

Favorites:
cereal--blueberry cereal (he means Kashi Oat Flakes and Blueberry Clusters cereal)
toy-- doggie pillow pet
game-- Uno Moo
TV Show-- Jake and the Neverland Pirates (originally said Word World then changed his mind)
Outside activity--play baseball
color-- blue
book-- Jungle book
food-- dessert (so true!! I thought it was funny that he didn't say any particular dessert, just dessert in general!)
animal-- cow
vegetable-- carrots
fruit-- plums and purple grapes

What is 1 thing you love about Daddy?  "When Daddy goes outside with me.  And go swimming."
What is 1 thing you love about Mommy?  When Mommy goes outside with me.  And hugs with Mommy."
Who is your  best friend?  Craig (from their Children's Day Out program)
What do you want to be when you grow up?  Hunter.  (This one was a surprise...?? I wonder if he even knows what that is...)

Perhaps I will add or take away some questions as time goes on, but this was certainly a great start!

  1. I LOVE this! I need to remember to do this with my kids! I think I always did this around New Years...hum..maybe I should get on that! :) They're answers are hilarious, especially the hunter that Nolan wants to be. Who knew?!? ha ha Jackson woke up today asking to watch Jake and the Neverland Pirates-too bad we can't have them watch it together! I don't remember if I ever said this, but I LOVE their birthday shirts!!! So so cute!
