Our Playset!

Darin and I decided this winter that once the weather warmed up (and we had Bob in town to help!) we would get the kids a playset for the backyard. We found one we loved and with Bob's help putting it together and Gayla's help watching the kids, it is done! It was a huge undertaking, of course, but now that it is done, it is awesome!

Here is stage 1.

We had to be careful with the ladders because the kids loved to climb them and play with them!

Maya wanted to help build too. She is managing the boys and reading the directions for them.

Nolan LOVED climbing the ladder and sliding down the slide. I was worried they would be scared of the tube slide, but they are loving it!

Maya likes someone to catch her at the bottom of the slide. Which is funny cause she slows down so much I don't even touch her when she is done. Nolan wanted to catch her this time.

What a nice big brother!

Maya's favorite part is the playhouse on the bottom level. She adores the door and acts as a doorwoman opening the door for people and closing it behind them. She also likes to serve food from her "kitchen." Nolan and I are enjoying a snack prepared by Maya!

Both kids surprised me with how quickly they learned to climb the ladder. The steps are pretty big but they manage just fine!

Maya is now serving Nolan his pretend blueberry muffin. Yum! She sometimes picks a piece of grass and pretends it is some kind of food.
