For St. Patrick's Day today, we went over to my friend Linsey's house for a playdate/party! The kids were all dressed in green and looked so cute. We all had lunch (complete with green desserts--yum!) and then the kids played a little before naps. I didn't get many pictures of the other kids, but I got lots of Maya, Nolan and Cole playing together.
Cole is showing Nolan how the truck rolls across the carpet.

Maya is playing quietly by herself.

Nolan and Cole are sharing a beach ball. "My turn!"

Maya is strumming the guitar just like Cole showed her. (One of Cole's many many vocabulary words is "strum"...amazing!!)

Nolan getting ready to "dunkeroo" but he came up a little short. One thing I did learn from this playdate is how much Nolan loves to play with basketballs, bouncy balls, and shoot baskets! Guess I know what will be on his "wants" list this spring!

Here are the gracious hosts...Linsey and Cole. Yay for piggy back rides!!!

All 3 kids sitting on the couch before naps. Don't Maya and Nolan look in awe of their older friend? He is so much more seasoned...older friends are always cooler when you're growing up. hee hee!

At home, we took some St. Patrick's Day pictures of our own. Maya wanted to show me her belly button first though, so here she is! She is getting into body parts lately and loves to find everyone's belly buttons, ears, eyes, nose, etc.

Happy St. Patrick's Day!!

Maya LOVES rocking in the glider in her room. She squeals in laughter when I rock it and tries to rock it herself with her momentum after it stops. Since she is so little, it takes a lot of effort for her to rock! She leans forward and SLAMS her body backwards. So cute!!!
