Preparing for winter

As winter approaches, we have been taking care of odds and ends around here. Nolan helped Daddy put together some shelves for his closet. He was more of a hinderance, but it made a cute picture!

We are taking our last walks of the season before the weather gets too cold. The kids (and Piper) really like them so it's fun to go. Most days Nolan just zones out and Maya takes a snooze. Here is cute Maya catching some zzzzz's.

Of course, we are getting prepared with our winter clothes! I found these hats in their closets that Great Aunt Jackie made for them last winter. I think they'll fit nicely! Aunt Terrilyn and Uncle Brian also got them some hats and their first pair of mittens for the winter. Bring on the cold weather!
