fall fun

Nolan played fall baseball this year for the first time.  He had an awesome time with his buddy Jack and their great coach John.  The last few practices of the season he had fun themes for the kids

Along with special hat day and Royals day, one of the fun themes was crazy sock day.  Maya wanted to participate too so they each wore crazy socks mis matched like this.  So cute.  :)

With the weather being so beautiful this summer and fall, we played disc golf quite a few times as a family.   Our favorite course is at Sar Ko Par Park.
Another fun fall event was our trip to the KC Renaissance Festival.  The kids got their faces painted as their fun activity they chose.  We also got to see a joust, meet some mermaids, eat a turkey leg,
and Maya got sprinkled with some fairy dust by a real fairy.   (There was a long line to get in and this helped pass the time!)

The kids each chose an activity to do at the Renaissance Festival.  Maya chose to ride in these swings....
and Nolan decided to play this hammer game "Dragon Slayer."

Can't remember if I posted about this but Nolan made this sweet Lego creation... a TMNT driving a truck that is shooting fire out it's back.
 Singing and playing the piano.
 Sweet Piper!
 Pet me!
So polite!

Both kids are loving our new piano--it is such a blessing! I love watching them and listening to them play!
