Outdoor fun

This spring has been a busy one for us.  We sold our house and so we spent the spring months doing some of our warm spring/summer activities for the last time at this house.  First, I had to start with some pictures of our sweet Piper.
She turned 11 on March 31st this year and she has been such a sweet dog.  Her black mask may be graying and her hearing may be almost gone, but she is still such a fantastic doggie.  When we are outside, she wants to be outside with us (even if her allergies are bothering her).

I asked her to sit and the thought I said "speak".  :)
The kids just love her and even though she is a part of the family, we just don't blog about her often enough.

One of our warm-weather activities is water balloons!  The kids love to throw them at all objects around the yard---trees, driveway, grass, but never each other.  I keep encouraging them to throw them at each others feet  to cool off but they'd rather throw them as hard as they can at a tree.

 Water balloon game faces.

We also had some sprinkler fun which I'll try and get some pictures of next time!
