Happy late Halloween! I'm finally getting caught up on some posts again!
This year Maya wanted to be a unicorn and Nolan wanted to be the Incredible Hulk. They helped choose their costumes and were so excited about them!
This picture says it all! It looks like Maya is afraid of the Hulk! Really she was making a funny face for the camera and she made me laugh so hard that Nolan turned to look and see what was so funny. The look on her face is priceless!
We had our first fun Halloween play date with our friends about a week before Halloween. Cole and Max were from Where the Wild Things Are...Max and his wild thing. So cute!
Sweet little Charlotte was a black cat! Isn't her outfit adorable?!
A few nights before Halloween we carved pumpkins as a family. Daddy scraped the pumpkins out (his least favorite part) and Maya and Nolan chose the picture they wanted me to carve in their pumpkins! Maya wanted 2 ghosts and Nolan wanted a witch!
I think this picture came out pretty neat with the glow.
On Halloween morning we had some friends come over for some Halloween fun. Tripp, Craig, and Alexa all dressed up in their Halloween costumes. So cute!
And I had to get a picture of cutie pie Charlie!!
We also had some Halloween activities like making these witches hands...
making ghost nutter butters....
and each kid got to take home a skeleton!
After the festivities (and a nap) we headed over to Gramma and Grampa's house for some early trick-or-treating!
But some scary monsters answered the door instead!
Once Maya and Nolan recognized them, they were so scary after all!!!
In case you wanted to be sure that it was really Nolan under that mask....Happy Halloween 2012!
We then went to a nearby retirement center for some trunk-or-treating!
The people there were very generous with their candy!
And some people really got into the spirit! This guy actually was inside a coffin covered in dirt!
We met up with Tripp (football player) and Charlie (football) there with their mom Brooke (cheerleader) and Chad (Bill Snyder).
We ended the night with some trick-or-treating in our neighborhood which I didn't get any pictures of.
We had a wonderful Halloween this year!
