Fall feats

Maya and Nolan began a new adventure this fall...Children's Day Out! A nearby church has a great program which Darin and I enrolled Maya and Nolan in, and we think they are going to love it. They go on Mondays and have play time, education time, lunch time, and naps! The first day went really well! Let's hope the future drop offs continue to go as smoothly. It's a big deal for Mommy to be away from her babies for so long, so I know it is a big deal for them as well.

Here they are on their first day with their backpacks on. They had a change of clothes, crib sheet, comfort items for nap time, and a lunch! I got their backs on these shots because they really didn't like wearing the backpacks...it was a first!

A very cute thing that they are now doing is sharing food. Many times when 1 is done eating, he/she tries to "share" his/her unwanted food with the other. You can see in this picture that Maya was done eating, but Nolan kept giving her his extra grapes and blueberries and she was eating them! They think this is so fun. It goes back and forth...just tonight Maya was done eating her brocolli and she tried to share it with Nolan by putting it on his highchair tray. I hear that some toddlers get very possessive of their food, so I'll wait and see what happens then.

  1. Maya and Nolan are SO good at sharing with each other AND with their friends! Being a twin must really be a good thing for learing how to share!! I love their backpacks - SOOO cute!! :)
